Job Description:

Senior Manager – Software Solutions will be responsible for the flawless execution of online marketing Program  for a rapidly expanding technology firm in travel industry. Senior Manager will be responsible for project management and execution & delivery of various online properties. You need to have experience in executing projects on time & in on budget. You need to coordinate with various external teams & internal team to build a schedule  and keep management up to date on progress, risks and issues. You need to have solid experience in managing development, Test team in day to day execution of projects. You will conduct daily huddles, project status meetings by pulling various teams across and keep them on  schedule and delivery. You need to have a clear understanding of Agile development methodologies like SCRUM.
You need to have Strong technical in depth to have conversations with development teams, QA teams around project. Understanding of development technologies and processes (business requirements definition, concepting, information architecture, design and development) is very much needed to be successful in this role
Responsibilities:
- Plan, lead, and manage projects with interdisciplinary team of visual designers, content writers, SEO/SEM marketing members, programmers & QA team members.
- Be proactive and exhibit a sense of urgency in addressing problems. Strong sense of product quality is required with some QA background.
- Capture and manage project requirements and scope; create business requirements documents and integrated project plans.
- Develop and publish detailed and milestone schedules
- Revise schedules as needed, troubleshooting to determine work-arounds
- Communicate project status and implementation needs to stakeholders and management. Need to send excellent status reports.
- Prepare Client presentations & prepare all materials for client review.
- Interface with a wide range of team members across various disciplines and departments.
- Document project postmortems & lessons learned and implement best practices as appropriate.
- Strong facilitation, team building and relationship management skills with high levels of diplomacy.
Skills/Experience Required
- At least 4 to 5 years of work experience in Project Management  in a Search marketing agency or in an IT organization where you have managed large project teams to deliver online portal or solutions is highly needed.
- Knowledge of SCRUM and agile project management methodologies is must.
- Implemented project management and Team sites using Microsoft SharePoint or related collaboration software to manage projects
- Knowledge of SEO, SEM and Open Source very helpful. Experience working in travel  industry will be  added advantage
- Strong MS Project and project planning and management skills
- Excellent knowledge in PowerPoint, Excel, Visio, and Internet technologies
- Demonstrated ability to gather information and problem solve
- Strong written and presentation skills
Education Requirements
- Bachelor’s required
- MBA or advanced degree in project management
- Certification in Agile development methodologies like SCRUM is preferred
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute (PMI) preferred
